Georgina Speak is a Clinical Psychologist with special interest in working with individuals who face difficulties adapting to illness and pain.
Georgina completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology, with her thesis exploring identity development in adults with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Georgina’s Honors thesis focused on identity and breast cancer survivorship. Consequently, she has a special interest in pain, identity and personal wellbeing. Georgina has experience working in various psychological settings including hospitals, schools and community services. She has worked with children and adults with a wide range of psychological presentations including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, relationship issues, stress, sleep and adjustment problems. Her approach to sessions is compassionate and down-to-earth.
