Dr Robert Gassin has been consulting in Musculoskeletal Pain Management for the past 22 years. He completed his medical Training at Monash University in 1986. He has since obtained a postgraduate diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from Otago University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Pain Medicine from the University of Sydney.
Dr Gassin is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society and of the International Neuromodulation Society and is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Musculoskeletal Medicine. He has previously been a member of the Clinical Review Panel of the Victorian WorkCover Authority.
He has had articles, on a variety of musculoskeletal pain topics, published in medical journals, is the author of 3 chapters in the Encyclopedic Reference of Pain and regularly lectures, to general practitioners, on a broad range of Musculoskeletal Pain topics.
Dr Gassin has a special interest in the management of Musculoskeletal Pain of spinal origin and has expertise in the use of spinal injections and neuromodulation.
