WHAT TO EXPECT
The team at Precision Brain, Spine and Pain Centre are committed to providing you with the best treatment for your condition.
To begin the process, you will need to see your family doctor and get a referral to one of our specialists.
Once you have your first appointment with a Precision specialist, we will be able to give you additional information about your diagnosis, treatment options and care plan. If surgery is recommended, we will also discuss with you expectations for surgical outcomes.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
When you arrive at one of our consulting rooms or clinics our friendly administrative staff will greet you and ask you for any forms or medical results that you may have been asked to bring.
Usually, we request the following items:
- A referral from your GP or Specialist (or an approval letter from your case manager if you are on WorkCover or using a 3rd Party Insurer)
- A list of any current medications
- Details of any previous surgeries
FILLING OUT FORMS
Before you arrive, or in the waiting room, you will need to allow 15 -20 minutes to fill out a New Patient Registration Form and view our Privacy Policy.
These forms are about your general health as well as specific information on your medical condition. The purpose of these forms is to provide us with the information we need to effectively make a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan for you.
LOCATIONS AND PARKING
In order to minimise your travel time, we service a wide range of locations. Most of our locations are easily accessible by transport and have access to nearby parking.
Full details about location and parking will be given when you make your first appointment. Please visit our locations page for more specific maps and parking options.
ASK QUESTIONS
It’s normal to want to ask questions and discuss concerns with your specialist. Following any advice or diagnosis, we want you to feel comfortable to raise questions and discuss any risks involved in your treatment plan.
